Scallops, scallops and more scallops! Life is short! I wanted to make them two ways!!! The first I have done a few times and they are incredible!!! Check them out here>>>>>
This post is to showcase these delicious dairy free scallop au gratin. This could be an amazing appetizer, but I truly think it just takes a steak dinner to the next level! Tell me what you think?
Find a ramekin of your choice and fill the bottom with scallops on their flats... you don't want to over crowd or over lap them. I could fit five. I seasoned them with greek seasoning, and bit of oil.
I placed 3 tsp of dairy free cream cheese on top and placed these in the oven at 300 degrees. You only want to bake these as long as the dairy free cream cheese melts and the scallops will become partially cooked, this will be around 15 minutes. Once that happens, pull the ramekins back out and layer the top with bread crumbs and dairy free cheese shreds. Place them back in and watch for the cheese shreds to melt. Probably another 7-10 minutes and then change the oven to broil to quickly crisp up the topping of bread crumbs and cheese.
I sprinkled a little more of the Greek seasoning on top and these delights are ready to pair with anything... but seriously pairing with a steak and a garbage salad is heaven!
Doesn't this look amazing? The salad is so fun and delicious and literally uses up all your veggies! Check it out here>>>>>
