This will honestly be a quick post.... mostly because I did all the hard work in a previous post when I made the apple chutney. I have a ton of it left from the big batch I made at the end of summer from the apples from my back yard! When I made it, I didn't think that one day I would be using it as a hearty sauce for ribs, but it seriously works. In fact, if you are not in the mood to try making your own chutney, there are several delicious store bought chutneys out there that may be just as great! Pork goes well with a fruity flavour so give it a try with any chutney too!

You're probably thinking I'm crazy around now Korean BBQ shaker with a Indian spiced chutney? Maybe so, but what I loved about these flavours together, is that the shaker has no sweetness to it at all, just a bold flavour, otherwise this had the potential to be too sweet.

Into the oven they go at 250 degrees.

After about 2 hours I pulled these out of the oven to coat them with the chutney. If you are looking to take your hand at making your own chutney the recipe for this Indian Spiced Chutney is here

These went back in the oven for approximately 1 1/2 hour more, until the ribs hit and internal temperature of 170 degrees.

These can be served up with anything, potatoes, some rice! The options are endless and delicious. Drop me a line with the type of chutney you tried this with! I also love photos!
